Peanut Goes to Nursery

Emri has been to nursery for 3 weeks now and really loves it! Thankfully! She has wonderful teachers and we really appreciate them. We all know that's not everyone's cup of tea! :)
Emri got picked to take the snacks to share last week..... With her help of course, we went with Goldfish crackers and Curious George fruit snacks!

Oweee Ah-Gone

Although Emri didn't seem to mind her cast being on and lived life pretty much the same as she always did before (except more dominantly use her left hand to eat), Mom and Dad were glad to have it off! My body parts will be most grateful... Without fail, everytime I picked her up she would rotate around, elbow first, and either catch my clavicle or jaw with that blasted thing!!
Waiting for the saw.....and watching Curious George clips
Me: "Emri, where did your oweee go?"
E: Arms up as below....and the "I don't know" face

Me: "Emri, did you get your cast off?!?!?"
E: Throws both arms in the air "ah-gone!!"
She was a good patient...a little nervous at first, but Brett held her still while I kept her busy with Curious George and fruit snacks and it went pretty quick! Yay for a healthy baby again (other than the runny nose and cough she came up with this week.....nursery germs???)

Happy 5 Years!

On our 5 year anniversary this year Brett and I were actually 1,600 miles apart. Sad. So, when I got home from Utah we were able to celebrate by going to......
WICKED!!!!!
We went with our good friends, the Williams'.
Neither Brett or I had seen it before.....we both enjoyed it! Brett downloaded all the songs the next day for us to listen to.
What a hotty he is......
Thanks for an adventurous 5 years babe! Love you!

18 Months

18 Month Stats:
Weight: 24lbs. 10oz. (56%)
Height: 32.5 inches (78%)
Head Circ: 18.75 inches (86%)

It seems strange to say that Emri is 18 months....where does the time go?! I didn't do a 17 month post/picture since we were in Utah. She has changed or I guess I should say LEARNED so much in the past month or so!

She has loved being at Zoombezi Bay with her girlfriends (Samantha, E, Reese)...apparently yellow was the color of choice that day!
Emri loves to have bibs, hats, blankets, clothing, or anything on her head these days.... Ummm, welcome to the convent?! She's so serious!
ha ha ha! Where did she come from?!
Classic....it's 95 degrees outside with 90% humidity and this girl insists on wearing her winter hat and "mittys!"
It's pure entertainment for Brett and I to put the headlamp on her....she follows the light as she spins her head around....which just makes an ongoing process! We sure love this little character!
In the middle of our Utah trip Emri began to really talk and mimic everything....I'm not sure if it's the age or possibly being around so many people all the time while we were there. Now she's quite the jabber mouth and some of her words are so cute! They are changing all the time too....I'm going to journal some of the ones that take translation here so I don't forget how cute it was before she learns the correct way to say them:

Sleep schedule: takes 1 nap/day.... usually around 1 till 3. Goes to bed between 7:30-8pm and gets up between 7:30-8:30.

Has 8 teeth (just cut 2 teeth this last week....the first in several months)

Some other little funnies:
Whenever she walks near the couch she looks at me and says "keh-fo" (be careful)....I guess I say that a lot now since the arm incident!

Throws her hands in the air (like she just tied a goat) after she finishes a drink or when we say Amen after prayers

Waves and says "bye" when we lay her down for naps or at bedtime

Points to her butt and says "Poopy!" after she's done the deed...as if we couldn't smell it already!

Says "yeah" to pretty much every question we ask her

Her imaginitive/pretend play is really starting to come out! She loved playing with my old dishes set at Momma Max's and likes to cover bear and give it a binky to go nighty-night!

Adds "ee" sound to the end of several of her words, not sure where it came from. (lighty, mitty, ridey, Reesey...)

One morning I went into her room to get her and opened the blinds. She squited/closed her eyes and held her hands up towards the window saying "bitet! bite!" Apparently it was Bright!! :

We love you Miss Emri! Stop growing up so fast!

"So Crafty"

We are super excited and feel blessed that we will be doing THIS again! In February....again! Well, I can't say that I'm looking forward to the labor/delivery part, just the outcome!

The pooch is definitely obvious already....so lots of you might have already suspected :) I'm 13 weeks, so far so good!

Reynolds Reunion 20Ten Bear Lake

This is the 2nd Annual Reynolds Reunion (thanks to my cousin, Kelti, and me....yes, the grandkids) cuz our parents never plan anything! This year we met in the middle...Bear Lake! IT WAS FANTASTIC!!! We camped at the KOA....I'd never been there before, but it didn't disappoint. Great facility, I'd highly recommend it!

There are a million pictures....and in no particular order (you should be able to click on any picture to make it bigger)

I was in charge of dessert one night, so I whipped up some dutch oven peach cobbler. I was nervous doing it without Brett's guidance (although I did make a phone call to him for a question or two)...but it turned out great. My uncle Kent (the master of desserts) even said it was AMAZING :) YAY ME!!
We had a couple storms blow through...luckily both in the evening and not while we were on the lake....one particular one snapped this branch off onto the boys' tent!
Andi and Kolby on the famous Bear Lake Bike Rentals.... good times had by all....except Bridger who rolled his bike twice...and Brody who crashed into our camp-neighbors Jeep. Wreckless Kids!
Our site....We had 2 camp trailers, and about 6 tents....and around 45 people coming and going all weekend.
Papa and Bridger
Pratt got a shot of whip cream on his binky and begged for more!
Brittany, Brody, Bridger
Kelti (the master planner) and Dori
Emri disgusted at my attempt to shove a whole super-sized mallow in my hole....
Brody and Britt
Hailee and Emri bouncin around in Papa's trailer
Kade and Brody (don't they just look like the happiest campers on earth?!)
Our days were spent soaking up every ounce of sun and every drop of water possible on beautiful Bear Lake. Papa took the little girls for a tube ride. Emri tolerated it well....she even put her hands up!
Dori, Kelti, Jami, E, MommaMax
Before I go any further, I have to say....it was so nice going home this time and having sooo many girls around (mostly to even out the testosterone)! Yes, 3 of my brothers have managed to get girls to like them...and actually stick around for a while! ha ha! The next 2 pictures are the reason these ladies all mesh in our family so well....

Dad tried to trash them all on the tube (as he does everyone, except for cute little peanuts named Emri...which is why I chose that specific ride to go on)....and they weren't even phased! Let me introduce them (l-r): Barbie(Kade's fiance), Andi (Kolby's flame), and Brittany (Brody's "promised" girl).
We call this one "the Andi sandwich!" You girls are awesome!
AND THEN, as if Brittany hadn't proved herself already, she jumped right back on between Bridger (who is taking a drink at the moment) and Brody...
...and she was all smiles the whole time!!
I love you Britt....you're the only girl I know tougher than me! bwahahahaha!
Dori taking a spill while Bridger and Blais hang on.
Even Aunt Debi rocked the tube scene! Awesome!
Of course the crazy boys have to show off a little....Brody and Kolby
I think I was loving playing with the sport setting on my new camera a little too much, but what fun shots!
Part of the crew at the beach... Kelt, Jill, Kerry, Papa, Uncle Ron, Jason, Ty, & Pratt
Emri has never played so hard in her life!! She could have been content to stay the rest of the summer on that beach! E and Pratt, so cute holding hands while they stand in the waves!
E, Jami, Jill, Pratt
My water/sand baby...wondering why when she flings mud it lands on her hat??
E and Britt
Momma Max's Island! It was a hit, especially the built in "pool"....just E's size! Uncle Kent and Brittney, Aunt Lynette, Ellis, Momma Max, Emri
Boat rides....we made sure to be on the Papa's boat at nap time with bear, blanky and binky in tow....5 minutes into it and Emri was out like a light! Works every time!
My little mud artist....

And one last shot of those lucious lips before she sacked out!
We had such a fun time.....I can't wait to do it again. It's always so good to see family that lives so far away....even if it's only for a few hours. Thanks Kelti for all your hard work....and everyone for coming!

Utah Playdates

About 95% of our trip was dedicated to spending time with family, but we were able to sneak in a few special playdates too!

The last time these 3 babes were all together was last June, when they looked like this:
And Now....What a difference a year makes!!
Melissa let us bombard her house... play with the dog, Zoie....
Play in the awesome pool (cute pool boy included)...

...And fed us popsicles and lunch (which by the way I'm still longing for another sandwich on that amazing Acres bread)!! No group shots cuz I was a party-pooper...sans makeup/shower from a late night pripr, but these little popsicle cuties were stealing the cameras all day anyway!
Emri, Parker, and Hazel
Thanks Melissa for letting us wreck your house and eat all your food! We miss you guys and can't wait to do this more often!

Grandma Max treated us to an afternoon at the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. Emri was brave enough to pet the stingrays....
Who am I kidding??? We had to restrain her from trying to swim with them!
She loooooved all the fishies! We also saw jellyfish, octupus, very active penguins and more!
And we were lucky enough to see these guys while we there too! Angi, Ty, Luke, Claire, Jane, E, Jami. Emri is holding the "nurnle" (turtle) Grandma bought for her.... she loves gettting spoiled in Utah!
Brie arranged/hosted an awesome and much needed playdate (BBQ) for the adults! Sadly, I only snapped a couple pics and it was after most everyone had left. Kyle, Brie, and Crazy Brooke :)
Russel, Ben, Kels, Jami
An old So-Jo lunch crew! All the ladies here (and a few not pictured) just happen to be some of my very favorite people in the whole world! Some of them were my YW leaders too when I was a "youth!" Oh, the good ol' days :)
Jami, Lori, Tara, Angi, Pennie, MommaMax, Mel, E and Jami
Angi hosted an awesome Cafe Rio night for the BHS BFFs :) E, Jami, Angi, Jaime
7 kids between the 3 of us....someone's been busy!
Luke, Emri, Jane, Ty, Claire, Shaden, Stockton
It was so good to see the friends that we did.....and we're always sorry we can't see everyone we would like to. Hopefully in a year we'll be a lot closer and can play all the time!!

Still to come: Bear Lake Reunion Pics
