Ike @ 10 Months

 At 10 Months, Ike:

  • gets very snuggly at nap time and bedtime if he has his binky and "tiny blanky" with him.
  • we left him for his first long stretch away from mom and dad. Gma Max kept him while we took the older kids to Lake Powell for 5 days. He did great!
  • transitioned to formula only....when we went to Powell, we came home to a fridge/freezer having gone out and I lost all the frozen breastmilk I'd been pumping. Also my supply was diminishing, so it was time.
  • will scoot on his tummy and he sometimes gets up on his hands and knees, but not quite crawling.
  • had his 1st haircut!
  • I find him sitting up in his crib after naps, but haven't actually seen him get to that position on his own.
  • naps 2x/day
  • is our happy camper! We adore this little guy!

4th of July & Celebrating 90 years of Great Gma Sugar!

We always look forward to the 4th of July festivities in Morgan!

This year was extra special because we got to celebrate Great Gma Sugar's 90th birthday!! She is amazing! There was an open house for friends and family, then we had a big family dinner.
The kids did a small program for Gma.
We all made pages to go in Gma's book... pictures, letters, notes... things to help her remember how much she is cherished and loved!
The night ended with fireworks, of course! And a big outdoor sleepover. Luckily there was no rain at 3am this year!!

On the morning of the 4th, a group of us got up early for the Henefer 5k. Mindy took 1st in our age group! She's so speedy!
We wend to the Morgan parade.... i promise the kids enjoyed it! haha!
Once it really warmed up we hit the pool....
Emri has mad poolside jumping skills!
Ike was the cutie in the pool...
 ....just enjoying the sunshine!
Grandpa flooded the field in the afternoon and the boys ran wild. (Liam, Jet, Owen)
Gma is always whipping up some kind of treat to keep everyone happy. This year, snow cones!
This picture is hilarious. They are all beyond tired, red lipped, red eyes, wild hair, and still soaking up all the fun to be had.
Cute Ikester in his "America Rocks" shirt!
We were going to go home after dinner, but the kids begged to stay late for the "big fireworks"...so we obliged. We set up chairs and blankets on the lawn. At 10 pm the city fireworks started... by about 10:06 both big kids were asleep! What a fun {exhausting} holiday!
