Emri's class had their first field trip! It was at Black Island Farms in Syracuse. We went on a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch, then spent a couple hours playing.
Naps in the corn box. That's normal, right?
Emri's face tells how HOT it was that day. I'm only complaining because I way over-dressed and sweated my butt off the whole time we were there!
Our first leaf-rake of the year. I'm scared there will be at least 10 more! We have a ton of trees!
A cute little playdate with a friend Kendyl. Kendyl's auntie does nails, so she had us come to the salon so kindly painted their nails! Emri was in heaven!
Love that my friends have kids the same age as mine! They get along so well!
We did a spontaneous zoo trip with Angi and her kids since the were off track. Spontaneous works great for me these days! It was my kiddos first time to Hogle Zoo. I'd have to say this polar bear stole the show! She had such a funny routine of swimming under the water, then popping right up at the glass. She'd swim away on her back then do it all over again!
The baby giraffe was only 3 weeks old and so cute!
The crew...this was another hot day that I anticipated to be cold (IT IS the middle of October afterall)!
It's not a trip to the zoo without a carousel ride :)
Made me miss Ohio and the amazing Columbus Zoo.... the kids probably didn't notice a difference though. If there's animals, they're happy!
