OHIO STATE BUCKEYES: NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!!!

We couldn't have had a better start to our year at this Buckeye house!! On New Year's Day, the Buckeyes beat Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, sending them to the National Championship against Oregon Ducks.

Buckeyes were the underdogs of both games....
...especially because we were starting a 3rd string quarterback Cradle Jones (his first career start was the Big 10 Championship game, and 2 Career Start was the Sugar Bowl, 3rd Career Start...The National Championship. And he showed up for each game--ready to win!!

We hung our Buckeye flag proudly on game day. I couldn't have posed this picture better if I tried! Ike followed me out to watch me put the flag up... Brett said the only thing this picture is missing is Ike's hand over his heart!
My little Buckeye fans at Costco on game-day buying food for the evening!
We went to Morgan to watch the game and this is what bBett looked like most of the time! He couldn't sit still! We were so nervous and excited! The game was SO SO good! Back and forth and we came out with a win!!!! It was so exciting!
We put the kids to bed before the game was over and the first question they asked when they woke up was "Did the Buckeyes Win?!" YES!!!!!!!!!

Ike @ 16 Months

One morning we were playing in the living room. The lighting was awesome and this kids eyes were sparkling! They are such a true blue color!

The days have been unseasonably warm... we've even walked Jet to preschool some mornings. Such a cute little polar bear!
I could just kiss his face off!
Christmas was a riot! He had no idea what was going on or why...but he sure loved it!

At 16 months, Ike:

  • sprouted his 3rd tooth (12-14-14)-- #E.
  • loves to watch Baby Einsteins.
  • sprouted his 4th tooth right on his 16 month mark (01-07-15)!-- #F
  • Started walking voluntarily January 6--will take 3-4 steps at a time! Will also stand alone for small periods of time.
  • is getting such a fun personality and seems to understand us when we talk to him...he responds with shaking his head no or nodding yes to questions.
  • Says "i-o" (hello), "toe-toe" (toast), momma, dada, "Bah" (bath)
  • drinks 2 bottles of milk/day (in morning and after nap)....for some reason I'm having a hard time giving them up!! That's not like me!

Anderton Dental New Location....Open For Business!!

It's hard to believe that after a year and a half of planning the new dental office is finally open! We (mostly Brett) spent a big chunk of time over the Christmas/New Year break finishing up things at the new office site, and moving dental equipment and necessary items over from the old office. Brett put in several 12 hour days. They were on a time crunch because patients were scheduled to be there Monday morning!

How many dentists does it take to hang a huge TV? Apparently 3!
Here are a few pics I snagged one day while I was there cleaning.
This is the front desk/reception area.
To the left of the desk is this part of the waiting room...
...and the playroom.
To the right of the check in desk is the "cozy" part of the waiting room! I just love that fireplace!
These are the doctor operatories. Hygiene was still a moving disaster so I didn't take a pic!
You really can't beat these views while you're getting your teeth worked on!

The back hallway looking into doctor ops.
The playroom.
We are so happy that the big move is finally here! It turned out beautifully! An added bonus is it cuts Brett's commute time in half! It feels good to have this big project done!! Congrats to the amazing docs in this practice :)
