Web Cam

We got a web cam from Brett's parents for Christmas...we set it up and last Sunday while the Anderton crew was all in Morgan for dinner we had a live chat with them!
I'm really impressed by technology! There's always something new. I'm also glad for Brett when it comes to stuff like this...i have no clue about little gadgets and he loves them! I've really learned a lot from Brett in this area since we've been together!
It was funny talking to the kids...Ruby wasn't so sure of why Brett and Jami were talking to her from the computer!
Grandma Anderton was so cute...and really amazed by the chat! I bet she never would have imagined something like this in her lifetime!! As if phones, emails, and blogging don't keep us in touch aross the country...now there's live chats!!

Now, if Brett really gets what he wants we'll have the real deal sooner or later...
the iMac with the built-in web cam (because our 2 yr old MacMini isn't cool anymore)!

How we enjoy the snow...

I've noticed i take a lot more pics when we're with brett's family than mine and i realized it's probably because our nieces and nephews are a lot cuter than my brothers!! ha ha ha

These are some pics i actually took last winter and never posted... so i thought i would share them now since i didn't really have a ton from Christmas!! Brett, Dad, and i went snowmobiling last year the day after Christmas to a place near Kamas, UT called Hannah. It is so beautiful!
Getting all geared up!
Dad...on top of the world!
Brett, me and Kolb...with his snowboard in tow!
He sat behind dad...hitching a ride to the top of "the Towers," then boarded down!
Digging out...
there was a lot of new powder and we all had our fair amount of time being stuck!
Brett showing how deep the new fluffy stuff is!
It's so tiring if you have to get off and help someone else!!
We had a fun time! I'm always relieved at the end of the day though...for some reason i always get nervous something bad will happen. Glad to be safe!

This video is of Kolby coming down one of the "Towers" on his snowboard...you have to look close, but he jumps off the top of the cornice which looks small here, but it's huge when you're up top looking down!

Brklacich Christmas...

A few days into our trip we went to the "Jex" extended party. This is actually with my Grandma Brklacich's siblings and their kids...but it's for the adults. Obviously not everyone can always make it, but we usually try to go so my great aunt Pat actually planned the date around making sure we could be there...we feel special! We always have a good time...yummy dinner, white elephant exchanges that tend to get a little out of hand, lots of laughs, and a game called Blitz (some call it gambling). I've never been around so many people that laugh so much! The craziest white elephant gift was a real deer leg...with plastic knife and fork! SICK!
Bridger brought his dogs to see me at the door...it was too cold to go out and say hi!! This is Dodge...he's the size of a small horse!
It's crazy how much my brothers look alike...Kade and Brody relaxing on the couch that will put anyone to sleep in 10 minutes or less! So cozy!
It's pretty much the happenin' spot at my parent's!
Kolby entertained us with his Guitar Hero skills!
It's actually pretty impressive to see the coordination this game requires!
See Brett in the background..his chin ran into the lawnmower...don't laugh, it encourages him!!
Dad and Bridger...trying to follow along with the game.
Of course dad was quick to tell the boys how to play, but he never actually tried it.
We did, however, come home to momma Max one afternoon jammin out by herself!!
She's awesome and was passing some of the songs!! You're a rockstar Momma!
Bridger gettin his groove on!!
We spent Christmas morning at Brett's so my fam had already done their Christmas other than our gifts to eachother and my parents. Kolby's shirt says it all for him "chicks dig my ride."
His Christmas included a lift and new tires for his truck....
you know, the things that are important to 17 yr olds
Bridger really got a lump of coal!! Naughty!
Mom loved her personal calendar full of family pictures!! Made on a Mac :)
She is also getting veneers for her front 4 teeth!! Brett's dad is doing them! I will hopefully be able to show some before and after pics!
We were very excited for some house decorations!! Mom got some stuff at Swiss Days in September...not thinking about getting them back to Ohio! She shipped them and now i need to decide where they go! We are also excited to use our new video camera on our adventures to new places we visit!!
That's it...Max out! I told you, that couch is amazing! The kitty likes it too!

Anderton's PART II

I'm sorry for all those who don't enjoy my lengthy posts, but as most of you know i love pictures and i always have a hard time narrowing down 400 photos to just 10 or so....but i figure if you're reading this, it's kinda your own fault you came back for more!!
Brett and his buddy Ruby at the Christmas party!

One night we went out to the pasture of fun and pulled the kids behind the 4-wheeler on a sled. They couldn't get enough! Carter and Dex doubled up for this one!
Mac wasn't too sure he wanted to go for a ride....
i don't think he was even sure he wanted to be out in the cold!

Marty getting in on all the action...and of course, Dog chasing him!
Kenya waiting patiently for her turn...when she came back from the ride she was on her back and her feet were straight up in the air! I thought she'd be crying and wanting to go inside, but she actually was laughing and loved it!
Ruby was so excited for her dad to take her for a ride!
Ryan and Trev..supervising?!?!?
Everett playing in the snow....love the rosy cheeks!
ha ha ha! This picture makes me laugh...doesn't it remind you of "The Christmas Story"---who was it, Randy or Ralphie that falls and can't get up?! Ruby...what a cute pink marshmallow you make!!
Ingrid making "snowcream"...a treat i love!!
Maybe if it snows enough (and is clean enough) here in Ohio we can share
this treat with our friends
Brett and Doc enjoying a wonderful prime rib Christmas Eve dinner!
Christmas morning... (Rewind for a minute...)Brett's uncle is quite the racquetball player. He competes in (and wins) many tournaments! If i'm right i think he is actually sponsored! Well, Brett has really taken a liking to the sport and has been wanting one of Uncle Rod's old racquet's for a while now. Maybe Brett thinks that if he plays with a professsional racqet that his skills on the court will improve?! Now back to the story...I contacted Uncle Rod in Pocatello, ID and he made it possible to hook me up with one of his older racquets as a surprise for Brett on Christmas! Not only did he get the racquet, but Rod threw in a few other surprises with it...an E-Force duffle bag, shorts, tshirt, HEAD goggles, some tournament played racquetballs and an autographed pic of himself that i asked him to do as sort-of a gag gift!!! It was awesome and i think for the first time i was able to pull of a surprise without Brett knowing or snooping to find it! Thanks for your help Rod! Brett---now you better play like a champ!
TRYING to get a decent picture in front of the tree...Brett is SOOO cooperative (as he just about pushes me out of the picture)!!
I loved this pic of Liam...so festive!
Christmas at the Andertons wouldn't be normal unless the girls came up with something sentimental! There always has to be a tear jerker! The mat on this framed picture has a saying from all the grandkids of why they love gma and gpa...in their own words. It was really sweet!

Our nieces and nephews also gave Brett and I a really thoughtful gift... 2 pillowcases that say "somebody in Utah loves me" and they each traced their hand and put their name in it! I LOVED IT!! Thanks to all 15 of our nieces and nephews...McKenzie, Morgan, Carter, Courtney, Brystun, Kenya, Macguire, Dexter, Everett, Isaac, Lincoln, Brooks, Willa, Ruby, & Liam!
WE LOVE YOU!!
