Ike @ 11 Months

These chair pictures sum Ike up perfectly! Happy, silly, smiley, and won't sit still for a second!

I will miss the gummy smile, but those two little tooth nubbins are so adorable!

Ike wasn't too sure about mom's idea to trim his hair!
How we eat out these days.... daddy's phone helps with entertainment for the little dude.
 Time to lower the mattress!
Swim date with cousins. Kasen (Kylie's baby) and Ike
 Little laundry helper!
Not sure what was so sad, but tears don't roll down those cheeks very ofter, so I had to document it.
At the Bluffdale rodeo with Gma Max
 In. To. Every. Thing.
Ike loved his first experience in the sand! Bear Lake.

 Morning camping snuggles with grandma!
 This face. Melts my heart!

At 11 Months, Ike:

  • Army crawls to get wherever he wants to go. Will get up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth; it usually ends in a forward lunge to the face!
  • Pulls up to stand in crib (07.16.14) so we had to lower the mattress!
  • Now has a hard time going to sleep because he wants to sit up and play or stand and can't quite get back down.
  • Did start crawling! 07.18.14
  • likes to wave "hi" to everyone! He waves with his whole arm.
  • FINALLY sprouted some teeth just a couple days before turning 11 months (#P: 08.05.14)  (#O: 08.10.14)
  • Is in the "pick-up-every-tiniest-thing-and-put-it-in-your-mouth" phase. At least the house gets vacuumed daily!
  • Naps 2x/day. Usually 2-3 hours each. Loving this because I know it won't last long!
  • Loves to pull out his best grins when the camera is out!
  • Pulls up to most furniture, still a bit unstable once standing, and doesn't cruise around it yet.

Reynolds Reunion ~ Bear Lake '14

Last year we didn't have a Reynolds reunion...due to crazy schedules, so I'm very happy we got to get together this year! We stayed at the Bear Lake KOA once again. It's not "real" camping, but it suits our needs (especially since our little family stayed in one of the new "cabins" with A/C, a tv, bathroom, and a fridge! haha! I guess that's my kind of camping! :)

Aunt Kassie & Ike
 Kelti & Jami
Brett & Bridger cookin up some delicious breakfast!

Behind all the toys somewhere is Brody and Blais...
Emri got injured within an hour of being at the KOA the first night. She was on a "bounce bubble" (similar to a trampoline) and hurt her knee. We thought it was possibly hyper-extended. She wouldn't walk on it, or straighten it the first night. The next day she straightened it, but didn't want to walk on it at all. Luckily playing in the sand was on the agenda for the weekend anyway! Although she didn't do much running around... she still had a good time.

We rented some paddle boards the first day and the kids loved being passengers....another fun activity for injured Emri.
Getting my stability figured out! One second you could feel so confident, and the next....face first in the lake!

Emri talked lots of people into taking her for a spin! (Uncle Kolby & E)
Great Uncles Ron & Randy meeting/baby talking to Ike
This baby was happy as a clam on the beach!!

Momma Max, Uncle Ron, & Aunt Debi no longer strangers to the paddle boards
He's so serious in his sand/water business!
Ok...not SO serious! I loved seeing the kids just love every second of the beach...
IF ONLY we could figure out a way to keep the sand out of babies mouths?!
Bridger and Kass were struggling to find their footing!!
I'm pretty sure they buffed it just milliseconds after this was taken! haha!
Jetty and Uncle Brody headed for a cruise.
 Keeley, Kade & E diggin
Kolby showing off his moves on the pole. ha!
Aunt Net w/ Ike and Momma Max w/ Keeley. Ahhhh, the lazy days of Summer!
 Emri and Ayden
 Burying Uncle Bridge
We love this uncle Bridger of ours.... his style is so unique! :)
 Jetty and his favorite, Brody
Last time we were here the summer was super dry and fires were banned....we were happy to actually roast some mallows this trip....also a new thing we tried was roasting STARBURTS!! So fun, and gooey yummy!

ahh, the warm, golden, stickiness is so delicious! So is this cute boy's face!
Most of the crew that was able to make it. I think we counted about 49 people total.
Gma Max snuggling this cute little Ike bug

Jet made fast friends with a cousin (Mackay) he'd never met before.... I think they share a love for trucks!

Max's Island...always a hit! They even had lunch delivered to them on the island this day! Spoiled!
So thankful for extended family. We had a great time catching up!!

Also, update on Emri's leg coming soon....
