Anderton Spring St. George Getaway!

With Grandparents leaving on a mission in May, they decided to have a getaway in the Spring since they'll be gone for summer. We went back to the place we stayed last summer in St.George! Such a fun house to fit all of us in! Road trip went well! Brett and I are splitting his earbuds...listening to a Buckeye basketball game.
The cousins celebrated Brigham's birthday with a Transformer party while we were there!

We did plenty of swimming!!! His face doesn't look like it... but this is where Ike wanted to spend all of his pool time. Under the waterfall! Brett would pull him out and he'd point right back at it to go back for more!
 Emri and Ruby

Some down-time in the theater room in the afternoon.
I'd say when you're found like this...passed out before bedtime... it was a successfully exhausting day!  (Jet)
Emri loves her older cousins! Snuggle time with Dex during a movie.
After the kids go down, the adults stayed up way too late talking about anything and everything.... like what famous person you look like.
Grandma's Annual Easter Hunt/Breakfast! It was fun to switch up the location... new terrain to explore, new hiding spots, still WAY too much candy!

The ladies did a SWIG run!!! Do we have an addiction?! Dirty drinks all around!
The last night we had a celebration for Grandmas birthday, outfitting her with some new clothes for her mission. And we also gave Gma and Gpa a gift of a whole day of service around their house and yard to help them get ready to leave for Portugal. And we had all the kids handprints on pillowcases for them to take with that said, "Somebody in UTAH Loves Me!"
Gosh we have been blessed with awesome people to call Grandma and Grandpa! We will really miss them when they go, but are so grateful for their never-ending example to us of serving others.

Ike @ 18 Months

Well Check Stats:
Weight: 21lb. 4oz. (12%)
Height:31 inches (8%)
Head Circumference: 19 inches (74%)

Handsome little man!!!

OH boy! 18 months is a big milestone for the little ones. It means he can now go into the nursery at church!  It's such a weird feeling to look at these pictures and wonder how in the heck he got so old so fast?! Yet at the same time, those last 6 months of wandering the halls in church waiting for nursery age seems to last an eternity!
He did great... he was just happy to be able to play instead of sit still!
swimming for Jet's birthday. yes, another water dog on our hands! i love it!
One can never have too many binkys!
It was awfully quiet... luckily the only damage done was a little extra baby germs on Jet's toothbrush! He looks so old here!
It was a rough month of fevers, ear infections, stomach bug... lots of snuggles.

Not feeling well....and not a fan of food.
Big boy definitely out-growing the baby carrier!
We finally gave him the upgrade...he moved into Jet's seat and Jet got a fancy new one. Ike was just stoked to finally be front-facing!! Car rides are much better for all of us now!
 At 18 Months, Ike:

  • is now a full-time walker!
  • had a double ear, double eye, and sinus infection. That was a long snotty week!
  • 2 days after the antibiotic finished for the infections, he came down with a stomach bug (that Jet and I also caught a few days later). It was puke and diarrhea for about 4 days.
  • After the stomach bug cleared out, he came down with a gross nose and cough a few days later. It was a pretty rough month for sickness and this little guy.
  • "geez"= cheese, "yeahhhhh or shhhhh"= yes, "pyees"= please
  • Loves to try on everyone's shoes
  • lies his face flat on the floor when he throws tantrums.
  • 5th tooth erupted-- #D (2/23/15)
  • is a pretty picky eater. Only eats fruits and veggies if it's in jarred baby food, but pediatrician advised us to stop baby food and keep offering regular food. A few things he does like: easy mac n cheese, hotdogs, cheese, yogurt, bread, sometimes chicken.

Random March Memories Worth Noting

Grandparent "share" day at preschool. Jet invited Gma and Gpa Anderton to school. They shared a story and treats with his class. He loved having them come!
We bought a new fridge! Hooray!
The kiddos helping keep our church building clean.
A little break from gaming for a pic of Jetty. He loves special mom time while Emri is at school. This particular day wasn't great for me, but he was extra sweet that day! And i can't get over his pretty eyes.
Brett and I recently got new phones... and the kids have been using our old ones to play on. I came around the corner to all 3 of them like this and about died! haha! Even baby ike thinks he needs his own personal electronic device. Such a different generation, this one!
Moms and Muffins at the school one morning. So fun to spend time with this cutie!
Daddy teaching E the basics of basketball. She really loves watching sports with him!
 Feeding Grandpa some dessert!
It's so fun to look forward to these little traditions! Greenie Day! Fun shirts, and Lucky Charms for breakfast.... and a few gold coins!
 Love these little leprechauns!
Keeping with the green theme.... we did facials and had a skin care class for a YW activity!
We stayed in town for Spring Break... but tried to make the most of our days! One day we went to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden. The weather has be unbeatable for March!

Some bike riding followed by bubble blowing.

One day we met up with some friends at the Hill Air Force Base Museum.

One morning we did breakfast at McD's and played a while.
Just a pic of my big girl. Man she's growing up faaaaasst!!!!!
