HALLOWEEN!!!!!!

Since the "Incredibles" theme was such a hit last year, I decided it would be fun to all dress up similarly again this year.... we went with Skeletons! These cute jammies are from Carters. Not only did they work great as costumes, but we've been able to use them too! SCORE!

This was at the neighborhood trunk-or-treat
He was excited to have makeup on when the other kids were getting done, but it rubbed off quickly!
I dressed as a witch that night...

Jet dressed up for his school party and trunk-or-treat
Jet and Miss Jackie "the donut thief!"
Our friends had a couples dress up party at their cabin in Sundance. Brett and I used our Mr./Mrs.
Incredible costumes from last year. Katie was Peggy Bundy and Alli was a pilot.
Halloween... i found a fun design on Pinterest for face paint... E loved it!
We did the business trick-or-treat in Morgan. One of our favorite traditions. It was a bit windy, but the temps were great!
 Walking down Commercial St....

Brett opted out of dressing up early in the day... and dang it, I didn't get a pic of him later when we did some night-trick-or-treating in our old neighborhood. He has a spandex/fullbody scary skeleton suit! So, here's the fam earlier in the day!

To say Ike was happy about the amounts of candy we collected would be an understatement!!
Haha! He is such a ham!!
Now.... time for the kids to go to bed so mom and dad can have our pick at the ones we want! :)

Things We Did In October....

These pictures are all pretty random... which documents our daily life perfectly! You never know what you're gonna get with these goofy kids!

Evening bike ride at the church parking lot.

This cute boy wants my Shakeology everyday!
This just had to be documented.... Normally Jet wears ONLY basketball shorts and a tshirt. This day he dressed himself for preschool and was lookin pretty snazzy!
While all our cousins were in town the weekend of Great Grandma Sugar's funeral, we all got to pick the pumpkins out of Gma/Gpa's garden to bring home.
Usually you need a gong to get the attention of all those kids!
Several of us went to see "The Martian" late one night. Great show! Apparently there was a football game on during the movie and we needed to catch up on details as soon as the show ended (i can't remember, but I'm guessing it was either a BYU game or Utah State game)!
We found out some exciting news in September... baby #4 is on the way!!! In October we went for the first Ultrasound and everything was looking good. Feeling blessed!
We stayed in town over UEA weekend.... and one of the days I talked Uncle Kolby into coming with the kids and I to the Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point.

What would it feel like in a Tornado???
HUGE jungle gym! The kids could have spent hours in there!

I think Uncle Kolby liked it too! :)
Testing out our tree frog skills...

That evening we took our annual trip to Mabey's Pumpkin Patch with grandma Max.

As much as I hate to see Summer go, I do love fall and the traditions that come with!

Saying Goodbye to Grandma Sugar

This is the most recent picture I have of our whole family with Great Grandma Sugar (Dec 2014).
This was a cute one of her and Ric at our 4th of July gathering (2015).
Grandma Sugar (Afton) was such a classy lady. Always dressed nicely and all done up. She was loving, accepting, and kind to everyone. She had a strong testimony of the gospel and was a wonderful example to all of us of always giving service. Even though her passing wasn't quite expected, she was in the hospital recovering from a fall/ankle injury and things went downhill from there within a couple of days. We were able to all go visit her and say goodbye while she was at the hospital. She was released the next day and later passed away at home. The funeral services were beautiful. All the grands/great-grands practicing a song to sing at the funeral.
The weather was just perfect for early October. Here are all of her grandsons that were pallbearers.

I caught this tender moment between Charlie, Webster, and Jet during the graveside services.
Brett paying his final respects. He was lucky to grow up right next door to his grandparents.
We did a balloon release to heaven for her and great Grandpa. We know their reunion was sweet.

Watching the balloons fly to heaven....
Our little family. As hard as it is to say these temporary goodbyes, we rejoice in the knowledge of our Heavenly Father's Great Plan of Happiness for us, that we can see our loved ones again someday. So thankful for eternal families.
